The MacBAT 5 electronic gas volume and energy corrector has been equipped with Modbus RTU support, enabling operation both as a Slave and a Master device. The Modbus Master function allows MacBAT 5 to be used as a central element of the metering system, integrating data from multiple devices and streamlining the management of measurement information. The result is higher measurement accuracy, better data control, and increased operational efficiency of gas installations.

Using the Modbus Master mode allows MacBAT 5 to play a key role in advanced gas measurement systems, supporting integration and efficient data management. In addition, the corrector enables direct communication with gas chromatographs using the Modbus RTU protocol via the RS485 interface.
